Terms of Use

The agreement between you and us: what you can do here, what we can do, and who is responsible for what.

Last updated:

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using israelishub.io, our mobile app or our newsletter, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

2. Who you are dealing with

IsraelisHub is operated by Tigress Empire Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, at Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].

3. Who may use IsraelisHub

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You must be at least 18 to use the dating board, to post a dating profile, or to respond to one. You must also not be barred from using the service under applicable law, and you must not create an account after we have closed a previous one of yours.

4. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in. One person, one account: do not share an account or create accounts for other people without their knowledge.

5. What IsraelisHub is, and what it is not

IsraelisHub is a community directory, noticeboard and newsletter. We help people find each other; we are not a party to whatever happens next. We do not employ, endorse, vet, licence-check, insure or supervise the businesses, service providers, landlords, employers, event organisers or individuals listed here. We do not verify that listings are accurate, that a business holds the licences it claims, or that a job, room or item is real. Deciding whom to trust, whom to hire, where to live and whom to meet is your decision, and the contract you make is with them, not with us.

6. What you post

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, translate and distribute it on the platform and in our newsletter and social channels, for as long as you leave it up and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups and archives. You confirm that you have the right to post it, that it is accurate as far as you know, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Other people's information

Do not post another person's personal information — their name, photograph, phone number, address, workplace or anything else that identifies them — unless they have agreed to it. This applies to posting on someone else's behalf, including a dating profile for a friend or relative: get their permission first, and be ready to remove it immediately if they ask. Do not post a business's private contact details as if they were public, and do not republish private group conversations here.

8. What you must not do

Do not use IsraelisHub to:

  • Post anything unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deliberately misleading, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit.
  • Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to a business.
  • Run scams, phishing, pyramid or advance-fee schemes, or advertise illegal goods or services.
  • Post discriminatory job or housing listings, or anything else that breaks fair-housing or equal-opportunity law.
  • Collect other members' details by scraping, bulk downloading or automated means, or use them for unsolicited marketing.
  • Upload malware, probe our security, or try to get round rate limits, sign-in or moderation.
  • Copy substantial parts of the directory, the guides or the newsletter for a competing service.
  • Interfere with anyone else's use of the site.

9. Business listings and claims

Some listings are added by community members or compiled from public sources before the owner has ever heard of us. A listing does not imply any relationship between that business and IsraelisHub. If you own a listed business you may claim it, and we may ask you to verify ownership; we can refuse or reverse a claim if the evidence does not stack up. If you are listed and would rather not be, write to us and we will remove the listing. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of what they publish here, including prices, hours, licences and any offers.

10. Reviews and recommendations

Reviews must describe your own genuine experience. Do not write a review in exchange for payment, discounts or free goods; do not review your own business, your employer, your family's business or a competitor; and do not ask others to post reviews on your behalf. We may remove reviews that appear inauthentic, coordinated or incentivised, and we may suspend accounts that post them. Reviews normally stay published even if the business is later claimed or changes hands, so that the community record remains honest. Business owners may reply publicly but may not threaten or pressure a reviewer.

11. The dating board

You must be 18 or over. Be honest about who you are and what you are looking for. Do not post a profile for someone else without their explicit permission. Meeting people from the internet carries risk that we cannot remove: we do not run background checks or identity verification of any kind, and a profile appearing here is not a safety assurance. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and stop if something feels wrong. Report anything abusive and we will act on it.

12. Messages between members

Use messaging to talk to people about what they posted. Do not use it for bulk marketing, chain messages or harassment. We do not routinely read private messages, but we may access them when we need to investigate a report, comply with the law, or protect someone's safety.

13. Moderation, suspension and appeals

We may remove content, refuse a listing, limit features, or suspend or close an account when we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, when the law requires it, or to protect the community. Where we can, we will tell you why. We screen uploaded images automatically for unsafe content and may hold an account for review. If you think we got it wrong, reply to us and a person will look at it again. You may close your account at any time.

16. Email and the newsletter

If you subscribe, we will send you the newsletter and, if you have an account, occasional messages about your account or your listings. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. Account and security messages are part of the service and are not marketing, so they continue while your account is open.

17. Disclaimer

IsraelisHub is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that the information on it is accurate or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this may not apply to you.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of IsraelisHub — including anything that happens between you and a business, landlord, employer or another member. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

19. Your indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you posted, how you used the site, or your dealings with another member or a business, you agree to defend and indemnify us and our operators against that claim and the reasonable costs of dealing with it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take over the defence, and we will not settle it in a way that admits fault on your behalf without asking you.

20. Governing law and where disputes are heard

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and we both consent to those courts. Before filing anything, please write to us — nearly everything is faster to resolve by email.

21. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. If a change is material, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use IsraelisHub after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, please close your account.

22. General

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor if the platform is sold or merged. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
