1. Who we are
IsraelisHub ("IsraelisHub", "we", "us") is operated by Tigress Empire Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy explains how we handle personal information on israelishub.io and in our mobile app. You can reach us by email at [email protected] or by post at Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, USA.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the website, the mobile app and our email newsletter. It does not cover the businesses, events, groups or other organisations you may find through us. Once you leave our site or contact a business directly, their own practices apply, not ours.
3. Information you give us
Most of what we hold is information you typed in yourself:
- Account details: your email address, name, city, and the year you were born.
- Profile details: your photo, neighbourhood or ZIP code, gender, a short bio, and any phone, WhatsApp or social links you choose to add.
- Things you post: recommendations, reviews, comments, business listings, events, job and housing posts, marketplace listings, and introductions.
- Dating profiles, if you use that board: your first name, age, a photo, what you are looking for, contact details, and any preferences you fill in, which can include information about religious observance.
- Private messages you send to other members through the site.
- Anything you send us through the contact page or by email.
- Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter.
4. Information collected automatically
When you use the site, some information arrives without you typing it:
- Your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit.
- If you accept measurement cookies, anonymous usage statistics about which pages are visited and how people move around the site.
- Anonymous counts of how often a business listing is viewed, or its phone number or website is clicked. These are not linked to your account.
- The IP address a newsletter signup came from. This is used only to catch automated and fraudulent signups, never for advertising or tracking, and it is deleted after 90 days.
5. Location information
If you are signed in and have not set a ZIP code, the app may ask your device for your location so it can show you the right city hub and nearby listings. Your device or browser will always ask your permission first, and you can refuse or withdraw it at any time in your device settings. When you allow it, we send the coordinates to a mapping and geocoding provider to turn them into a ZIP code and neighbourhood, and we store the ZIP code, neighbourhood and coordinates on your profile. You can clear them by editing your profile or by asking us.
6. Information from your sign-in provider
If you sign in with an outside account rather than a password, that provider tells us your email address, your name and your profile picture so we can create or match your account. We do not receive your password, and we do not get access to anything else in that account.
7. How we use information
We use what we collect to:
- Run the site and the app, and keep you signed in.
- Show your posts, reviews and listings to the community.
- Let members contact each other and let businesses reply to reviews.
- Check that someone claiming a business really owns it.
- Send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
- Screen uploaded images and outbound links for unsafe content.
- Detect and block spam, fake signups and abuse.
- Understand which parts of the site are useful, if you accepted measurement cookies.
- Respond when you contact us, and meet our legal obligations.
8. What other people can see
IsraelisHub is a public community site, and a lot of it is public by design. Anything you post — recommendations, reviews, comments, listings, events, dating profiles and the photos attached to them — is visible to anyone on the internet, including people who are not signed in, and can be found by search engines. Your display name and profile picture appear next to what you post. Contact details you deliberately add to a listing or a dating profile are published as part of it, because that is how people reach you. Think of anything you post as public and permanent: even after you delete it, copies may persist in search engine caches and in other people's screenshots. Private messages between members are not published.
10. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not currently show advertising on the site. If we ever run advertising or share information with advertising partners, we will update this policy and ask for your agreement before doing so.
12. Information stored in your browser
Some things are saved in your browser rather than sent to us. These include your light or dark theme choice, whether you prefer list or grid views, and drafts of posts you have started but not submitted — which can include text you typed into a dating or listing form, and details entered during signup such as your name, ZIP code, gender and birth year. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us until you actually submit the form. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for israelishub.io, or by using your browser's private browsing mode.
13. Your choices and your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it and close your account. Write to us and we will confirm your identity before acting, so that nobody else can make a request in your name. We aim to respond within 30 days. You can also edit most profile details yourself while signed in, unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email we send, change your cookie choice at any time, and turn off location sharing in your device settings. Asking us to delete your account does not automatically remove posts and reviews that other members have replied to or relied on; tell us if you want those removed too and we will discuss what is possible.
Contact us14. How long we keep information
- Account and profile information: while your account is open, and for a short period afterwards so we can deal with disputes and abuse.
- Posts, reviews and listings: until you or we remove them. Reviews may stay published even if a business changes owner, so the community record stays honest.
- Private messages: while your account is open.
- Newsletter signup IP addresses: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Newsletter subscription records: until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again by mistake.
- Measurement data: up to 2 years.
15. How we protect information
We use encrypted connections, access controls and database-level permission rules, and we review them as the site changes. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. Please remember that much of what you post is deliberately public, and that the strongest protection for sensitive details is not to publish them. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
16. Children
IsraelisHub is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 18 to use the dating board. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to us and we will delete the account and the information promptly.
17. Links to other sites
The site links out to businesses, events, ticketing pages, community groups and news sources. We check outbound links against a safe-browsing service, but we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
18. Florida residents
If you live in Florida, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights may give you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. You can exercise the other rights by writing to us using the details above, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top always shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect.
20. How to reach us
Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go to [email protected], or by post to Tigress Empire Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, USA. A person reads these, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
